i am winding down from a good week. yesterday i did a one hour workout on the hills behind my house and then another hour of pilates. i have felt a difference in my lower back already and i am excited to see just exactly what pilates can do for me and for my running. I have enjoyed going this week but I am not quite sure how to describe it. it has a bit of aerobics, lots of resistance and some good stretching. after my pilates session, i am left feeling invigorated and much more limber. you will be hearing more from me about pilates as i get more into it.
today i took the day off. saturday i would like to go for an easy run out in the desert and on sunday i will be running calico. i am in no way prepared for this race. it will be a good workout for me and i will just be counting it as “time on feet”.
