good friends motivate me.
a beautiful day motivates me.
so do fresh legs. you know, the kind that have a bounce with an added kick when you run. kind of like dancing, if i could.
today i ran on the road. this is something that i love to do for a change. with my music on and perfect weather, my five mile run felt like five minutes, running down hill. although it really wasn't, it felt easy and joyful just the same. a great run to keep my spirits up for my 50 miles that i will be running on Saturday.
i have just added some music to my mp3 (my choice of musical devices). my friend Brad has introduced me to the world of Mashups which can be quite fun to listen to. my favorites are "Spending One Of These Nights With Kelly" which is a mix of the Eagles and Kelly Clarkson. also "Every Car You Chase" = The Police and the Snow Patrol. i have also added some Steve Miller Band, Boogie Wonderland by Earth Wind and Fire and some Chaka Kahn. if any of you have some favorites, please send them this way. i am always looking for some good music to listen to.

How bout my boy Sanjaya? C'mon...you gotta give him some credit. My other top vote goes to Haley...regardless whether she's the hottest one on the show or not, next to J-Lo of course. Blake was disppointing -- so was Melinda, Jordin, and Lakweesha. Phil wasn't too bad, surprisingly enough. Chris...horrible.
I vote Chris off.

I missed last night, as I usually have class on tuesday nights, and I forgot to tape it. But, I heard all about it and hope that Haley is leaving us tonight! I wanted her to go last week, instead of Gina. I too, agree, that Melinda and Lakisha's music is too old!

I miss Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood, I am a country fan so I love good Female country singers Like Carrie, Martina, Reba & I like Jewel a lot too...good soulful singers that can actually SING, give me some goosebumbs-haha

Sanjaya, win? Only hope that will happen to see if Simon really does quit he show. I think he gave him a good remark last night only to see if he could throw Howard Stern off the campaign of support for the boy that can't sing. Haley is much better than Sanjaya. Easier on the male eyes too.
