today i will put in two hours of running. one hour of it will be pulling the tire. yesterday i rode my bike to pilates and was almost blown away on the return trip. what a cold and miserable ride home that was. there is a reason why i am riding my bike the 20 miles round trip. the idea came from my friend Robert Baird's race report from his accounts of how he could have done better at Western States last year. one of the things that he pointed out was that he did not have enough time to train yet he failed to make some simple changes that could have helped like riding his bike to work. my back keeps me from some of my runs so i am trying to break it up with my bike. riding to pilates is my equivalent to Robert riding his bike to work. it keeps that inner fighting stallion alive in me.
my thoughts on A I ...
the hair? hmm, i could really get into this one but i will be careful. it has crossed my mind that maybe Sanjaya would have preferred being born a girl. he has more hairstyle changes then Star Jones. that pony-hawk thing was well, cool if you were a female on the cat walk but he did not even have the marbles to pull it off. i thought he came off looking ridiculous!
as much as i love the Sligh guy, he is starting to lag. and i love Chris R. but he might be a bit too "boy band" and that has already been done.
i am tiring of Melinda and LaKisha. they have great talent and can definitely make a name for themselves somewhere but they do not represent the American Idol to me. it's just my music preference. i think that Haley has been getting better and she will stay for a while because of her looks. Gina rocks! simple as that. she is my favorite female although not the best but she is who i like. Blake has got my guy vote. although i really don't ever vote. so there you have it, my pick for the finale would be Gina and Blake. i think Blake will win.
bottom three this week... Phil, Haley and Chris S. I am afraid Chris will be going home. i really like him. Sanjaya will be here for a while longer. he is just too hilarious to pass up right now. every season (almost) has got one. last season it was Kevin Covais. remember him (think Stuart Little) season 2 had Carmen and the first season had Nikki Mckibbin. you know they don't stay because of their talent...

My dear stallion-I never tell you what to do I only"suggest" I will suggest that maybe you do a nite training run or bike run-focus on that rather than men trying to be girls-all trails lead to auburn
Almost agree with you 100% with your comments re AI. I called Chris S to be voted off before the show -- it was either him or Phil...whoever performed worse. In fact, I think Phil's performance was one of the best. I'm tired of Lakweesha and Melinda too...Melinda looks like Casper, and what were they both wearing? Yikes. Sanjaya is doing what the producers want...keeping viewers and the ratings up -- has nothing to do with his singing/looks...never was. Only thing I don't agree with you is Gina -- she bugs me, and her singing is getting worse every week. Blake's performance was good, but he's had better.
Anyway, have fun with the spare tire...I keep mine in my trunk along with the junk. Hmmm...there's a joke in there somewhere.
