i have taken the day off to re-charge. i think it is a weather thing. i better get raved up for tomorrow cuz i think that it will be worse.
i am having a terrible issue with poison oak. i have only had to deal with it a few times and it was minimal. this time i think i have been re-exposed from my run up Holy Jim on Saturday. i have tried Tecnu, Tecnu Extreme, Benadryl Gel, Aveeno Oatmeal bath, some homeopathic tablets and now i have added good ol Windex to the mix. i have been schooled the hard way when it comes to this stuff. i guess that is how we all learn how to deal with it, right?
i wanted to thank a few of my friends today. Michelle, i talked to you last. thanks for seeing the best in me. George, you are the greatest trail mate for me and i am so lucky that you are willing to share your running time with me on the trails and for your positive and uplifting e-mails and phone calls. (oh, i call you) . and Dana for your support and putting up with my long runs and races that take me away while you hold down the fort. sometimes i wonder if i can do this race. i think that i blind myself. others are able to see what i can not. thank you everyone for helping me to work harder and get down less. all of you mean a ton to me. PS. my AI prediction. hmmmm, Sanjaya needs to go. he has too many hair styles for me. any guy that uses a straightener one week and a curling iron the next....well????? i will come back later and put in my prediction.

Ok...so I was wrong about Jordin -- thought it was one of the best performances of the night. Haley...very nice too, not to mention hot! Blake is good, but too gimicky for me -- he distracts people with his dancing and beatboxing. Lakeesha...lame performance -- bad song choice. Phil was better, but he's the next guy to go. Stephanie is gone tomorrow, like I predicted. Melinda was good too -- top 3 of the night. Sanjaya...great performance, and he's not going to get voted off yet. Chris...was ok. Gina...lame, and getting worse each week.
That scratch is making me itch? What song is that from?
