maybe not. so far so good and my fingers are crossed. with my heavier then i am used to mileage this past weekend and my longer Monday run today, i am still holding up and in one piece. today i was able to make up for some of the miles that were not runnable this past Saturday. i took the Indian Truck Trail all the way up to the Main Divide. that is a 7 mile up hill and then back down again. i used the first half for my power walking making it up to the Main Divide in two hours. on the way down i had that happygoluckywipethatgrinoffyourfacemorefunthenitshouldbe, feeling! total trip was 3:09 at a 13:30 pace. 14 miles total and a good place to start. i will challenge that time each week as i get stronger.
my weekly mileage has increased and i am now in the 50ish mile week range. i am not aiming for mega mileage so you wont be seeing any 100 mile weeks from me. i am very happy where i am at and i have a clear view of where i am headed.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

How's that spare tire coming along?
Ok, so who's gonna get voted off this week? I called it last week when I said Sanjaya will make the top 11. I thought it sucked that we couldn't see Brandon perform though...
I would like to see Phil go, but have a feeling it's gonna be one of the girls this time -- I'm guessing it'll be Stephanie or Jordin.
Shows you're in geat shape to be able to put in all those miles the weekend after a 50k. You are recovering quickly. that's a really good sign. Keep it up! You continue to inspire me.
Ok...I was totally off with Jordin (way better this week than last -- probably her best performance), but did I not call Stephanie or what?
Next week, it's gonna be one of the dudes...and I'm sticking with Phil.
