a very happy valentine to all. i had a wonderful day today. i woke up to flowers and had a
wonderful lunch with my husband. tonight i took him out for a valentine surprise. i took him to Pinkberry Yogurt. he had never been and i thought that it might be nice to share my secret with him. as far as running goes...

i started my week with a great 5 miles in the drizzle. it was fun and refreshing. monday was at the plateau in the sunshine and yesterday i had the great pleasure of stumbling upon some deer. or would they be doe's? if it is more then two, what are they called, a herd, group, family, circle of friends???? anyway, i so easily could have missed this special moment if it were not for one of these with her doe eyes fixed right on me. i stopped to admire as i do every time and then it became clear to me that she was not alone. under the cover of a great oak tree i counted at least six more all grazing. i love special moments like these~!

And a happy valentine to you, as well.

I frequently see deer on my run and it's always amazing. The doe seem to hang out together and the bucks are always alone. I was within 3 feet of a 8-point buck. He was absolutely amazing.

Happy belated Valentine Day to you!!! I thought PinkBerry was my secret- haha, we have to go and have some. Isn't it great to live by the plateau and able to see wildlife (I do go up there from time to time, on my leisure walks)
