a most amazing day!

i happen to be the type of person who gets very excited at the sight of wild life on my runs. i have even been known to make up games with the sight of each one. considering myself to not be the outdoorsy type, i find it interesting to have such a healthy respect when i see one of these wild creatures. yesterday i was so lucky to see this bobcat while i was running with George. this happens to be the second bobcat that i have ever seen. they are tricky creatures and can blend in even in the wide open. this guy was gorgeous and just watched us for a time before moving on in his pursuit of birds. it was simply fantastic. farther along the way we were also lucky to catch sight of a very beautiful deer.

i got to try out my new skirt. i think i will be taking this with me to Morocco. it is the Atalanta Skirt and was the most comfy that i own. felt great and i was just warm enough in my Meoben sleeves and my Smartwool shirt that Lisa sent home with George for me. (thanks Lisa, I love it!!!)

Last night we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the last two kids coming home from Utah. Shea and Cameron were on there way after first stopping off in Vegas for the BYU v UCLA game. it looked like a lose for BYU with just minutes left so Shea and Cameron hit the road only to miss the Miracle play of the year. BYU blocks the kick and it ends with BYU 17 to UCLA 16. what a game. they made it home at 12:30 and Dana and i waited up watching Christmas movies. so glad to have everyone home. today we all got to attend church as a family, something that does not happen often with the girls living so far away. Temecula does not feel like home and things are very different for our family this year but home is where the heart is and life is great! Tuckers championship win last week reminds us why we made the move and it has been so worth it.

and so, at this time i would like to wish each of you a
Merry
Christmas.
with love, from the Corbins
