MDS Camp ~ Class of 2008
photos courtesy of Ben Jonesi had a wonderful time at MDS camp and am on fire with this trip that i now get to plan!!! so many things to acquire. pack, sleeping bag, specially made gaiters. and i met wonderful new friends to share with! i will be posting random thoughts about the marathon, training, trivia and so forth.
for anyone that knows my friend George, his mother passed away the day before the camp. he has been such a part of my running that i just wanted to let you know.
also, Lisa's dad will be undergoing a very dangerous surgical procedure and she is hoping and praying for the best. she will be leaving this week to make the long drive from Idaho to Louisiana to be with him.
my thoughts and heart go out to you both! L

Please tell George that my thoughts and prayers are with him during this difficult time. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. You never get over it, but it does get easier.
