you are the first to check out my new shoes. these are the Trail Fly by Golite. they are less then 11 oz. lots of room in the toe box so i didn't need to size up. i am hoping that this might help me from tripping so much from my shoes being a little too big. what is also nice about this shoe is that the heel insert adjusts to the size of your foot. for instance, my left foot is a bit larger then my right so i can size them accordingly. the main two reasons why i bought this shoe is the (1) sole. the traction and grip is incredible. and the (2) laces. there is nothing worse then having to tighten up your laces 12+ hours into a race when your hands are cold and swollen. these laces adjust with an easy tug, no starting from the tongue and working your way up the shoe and then back down again. Golite makes 3 models. i am not sold on the color yet though. do you see me as a blue person???

instead of running down the sides of the trail, i took my tire right through the middle making sure to hit, slide and kick every rock that i could make contact with. i really liked these shoes. Marshall would be so proud of me!!!

Don't worry about the shoe color. They'll be 'dirt brown' very soon.
