my shoes are done

now that is one less thing that i need to worry about!!! i bought a brand new pair of New Balance and took them to the local cobbler to have the Velcro sewn around the shoe. i was very specific about how this was to be done with pictures too. some people just don't listen and then they tell you that you don't know what you are talking about. i would love to be more specific but this blog is rated G. so anyway, i happened to find a shoe repair in a near by town and she said that she would have no problem taking apart the first mess and then doing exactly what i needed. less then one week later, wah-la! the velcro was not only sewn on but glued and sewn just like i asked. she said that this was not a problem and that she could do anything! hurray for Brigitte!!!

so today i had that task of sewing gaiters. they are done and i think that i got all the bases covered. i am very excited about getting this taken care of, and i know that Blog Bob wont be reading this so at this time i will insert a comment.... did you see his feet????? wow! how is he going to train for that 100 he is planning on doing???? Bob, stay away from those red ants! (he never reads these things! ha!!!)

i have also been working on my food! that is a job!!!! maybe i will share that tomorrow.
