Meet my friend Deborah. she is a member of the Goody Stay Put Team with me. She had expressed an interest in trying an ultra a while back and so I suggested Noble Canyon 50k. It is a tough one but well organised and it was down in her neck of the woods. She was game, but a bit nervous too.
Deborah did an outstanding job in conquering her first ultra race. The distance was 31 miles on a very tough and rugged course. Not to mention a very hot day that gave many runners trouble.

It was a good day for me. I finished with an 8:01 over 10 minutes faster then last year in spite of the heat. I did miss running with my friend George who is out with an injury.
