a quick note from the blizzard trail!

Squaw Peak was crazy this year. the temps were supposed to be in the 60's and this is what we got as we started the race. all this is fresh snow that fell in the early morning hours as we made out way up the trail, first in the rain and then the snow that progressed into a blizzard. i was 100% certain that i would DNF the first chance that i got... but things did get better and i stuck it out and had a really fun time! more to come as i am still in Provo and will be leaving for home this afternoon.

this is my cute daughter Shea ad her husband Cameron who were the best crew and pacers ever. they were so excited to help me and thought the race was super! Shea has crewed me here before but Cameron has never seen anything like this and he will be signing up to run it with me next year!

many of you are just dying to know about "girlfriend Brad". well the third time is the charm and he did finish. in fact i did not even see him after the first two miles of the race and he came in a good two hours before me. way to go Brad, i am so proud of you and can't wait to do it again next year!

Good Job on the run! Glad to see that someone else had confused Brad for a girl! I've been calling him Sister Kay since Thanksgiving!
