my squaw peak adventure in the mud!

with only 3 hours of sleep and some swelling early on, the snow and mud made for an interesting run! after aid station 4 i was certain that i would DNF at the next opportunity
which would be mile 22. thankfully i was feeling much better and continued on to finish Squaw Peak for a second time. next year i will be back again to run it with my son in law Cameron. ohhhhh, he has no idea.... let's not tell him!

SNOW?!?!?!?!? That is insane! While we have been having temps hitting 100F! Way to go on toughing it out on a hard race. You go girl :)

That was one of the most incredible experiences (and finishes) of my entire lifetime. I'm so very sorry I didn't share more of the actual "run" with you Leigh, but there's always the next race (preferably a basic, simple, straight forward marathon...).
