Stage 5: HOT!

Stage 5, the marathon stage, is now behind our intrepid Turbo. She and George finished in 9 hours and 7 1/2 minutes. Total time: 56 hours 4 1/2 minutes. Here is her report:
hello everyone! today was the marathon stage. longest marathon i have ever done. in fact i just rolled in in 9 hours and some change. some people are in really bad shape but i am feeling fine! just in severe discomfort at times. no dunes today. just long and hot. 120° or so. the Dreamchaser camps have really helped me to be able to get thru the dune sections with ease. thank you Lisa!!!!

tonight we are being treated to an Opera from France. they are here right now getting ready.

tomorrow i just have a half marathon distance and then i am finished. i will have done the MDS. awesome awesome race and i am so very glad to be here!!!! i miss my family!!! Dana i have tried to call twice but your phone was
busy.... thinking of you. bye everyone and thank you for all the wonderful emails! what a treat!!! hugs from Morocco
