sometimes it is so fun to do a run with no agenda.... Kira is in town from DC so George and i got together with her for some fun times! we planned to meet at the train station and ride the Coaster 14 miles up the road. for some reason Kira did not make it on the Coaster so she learned the in's and out's of riding the bus. like for instance she had to ask the bus driver how to put the money in to ride. ohhh, he had fun with her!!!! here she is getting off the bus where we were waiting to start our day.
George is giving her a hard time for missing the train and sharing laughs about riding the bus.
it was a cold day at the beach. we were able to make it sunny and bright anyway. we had a great time hearing all about Kira's rock star run at Rocky Raccoon with a 21:28. wow, girlfriend... i can't even imagine that. way to go!!!! Lisa had many of her clients turn in steller times!
we stopped for a great lunch at a small bakery in Cardiff By The Sea. i think i had the best Penini i had ever tasted. all vegetarian of course! we had a great time catching up and planning more runs. it is so great to be able to take a day and just hang out with friends! thanks guys! L
