Somehow I got the idea in my head that It was a good idea to walk up the Portal Road after running the 50K. Wanted to time it for Badwater. 4 hours 13 minutes.
Then Mark thought it sounded good to so he joined me. George was our crew and we were visited by Denise Jones and Kari for a brief visit on the switchbacks.
This is my Lisa Bliss Finish. I am practicing it.
I just love this place. Who would have ever thought?

I missed this race for the first time in 10 years! I'm still deployed to the Middle East. Hopefully I can make it down from Seattle next year. I'm retiring from the Marine Corps and will be moving to Seattle. I saw Ben's pics and it made me a little sad. I should be SORE right now! Ha..
