i got to hang with Kirk today and run down to the candy store. 10.5 miles total.
once there we shared a coke and a snaple and ran back.
as i was pulling out and driving down the road a bit i noticed some
parasailors setting up with their gear getting ready to take off.
it was fascinationg to watch.

Hi Leigh,
Your lunch looked great..How have you been? We have to do lunch soon, miss you.
Shari
Very cool - I used to live in SJC but had family in Moreno Valley - so I grew up driving by that candy store and gawking at the hang gliders.. but we never stopped; I got into trailrunning long after moving away. Hiked Santiago Peak once, but that was it. Now, 3000 miles separates me from the area but going back to to explore it seems really appealing.
You think you can taunt me with such a delicious picture while I sit and read, enjoying a bowl of oatmeal? Hah! Someday, I'll have a blog of my own, and I'm gonna post nothing but pictures of chocolate. Then, what will you say? :-p
