my first week as a Temecu-lite!

tomorrow will mark one week living here in Temecula. i have actually managed to get some good miles in. i have a nice dirt path that runs through my neighborhood and some wide open fields with dirt roads. not too scenic and not technical but nice running. on Sat. i got away and put in 10 miles at the plateau. George was running Nine Trails. i had a terrible time there last year after almost getting hit by a car. remember this???

this is what happens when you run 18 miles after spraining your ankle. Deb Clem taped it up with electrical tape and i continued on until a very nice man said to "get in the truck and finish the Pringals" Mark Weneiki shall remain nameless.

anyway, i missed being at Nine Trails this year but have been very busy with my family. i have had 3 nephews visit while their mom and dad went on a cruise. Chad, Wyatt (thing) and Travis (thang), you guys are awesome and can come to our house anytime! Taylor was also home which was so fun.

December will be crazy as usual with two birthdays and our anniversary along with everything else. i will also be making my plan for MDS and i have lots of goodies to get. fun! oh yeah, did i mention that we are searching for a new home????? busy, crazy and fun times. and it's basketball season, that is the whole reason for the move. can't wait to see Tucker hit the hard wood for the Puma's! i know it will be worth it!!!

i will be running in Ridgecrest next weekend, last year i could hardly walk so i had to miss out.

thank you Shawna and George for all the time you gave in helping us move. it made a big difference!

Hey, it was fun to bring my vacuum out and see just how dirty all your corners were! Mine are way worse...yes, that house holds lots of memories (for me too), I still remember walking thru that quiet, empty house when you were in critical condition at Palomar-making sure the dogs were fed and dry....and how Baby just stood there in the rain looking so pitiful. Lots of good times there, but many more to come for sure...
your forever friend, shawna
